I am a Canadian based film critic writing for the LA site www.incontention.com, the Metroland syndicate in Ontario, and for Filmstar Magazine. My book Clint Eastwood: Evoltuion of a Filmmaker was published by Greenwood in December 08, and the second Steven Spielberg: American Film Visionary is due in December 09. After that I will write three of seven volumes for a series tentatively title American Cinema: The Decade Series. I will write the new millenium volume, the nineties and the seventies. I have been obsessed with film since I was eleven, after watching Charlton Heston part the Red Sea in The Ten Commandments (1956. Sherri, my wife, and I have two children, ages 17 and 9, both beautiful girls. We live quietly fifty miles outside of Toronto.
